The Outlook surveyed over 1,100 travel advisors about what is happening and trending within the world of wellness.
A new study from the Wellness Tourism Association (WTA) released last week revealed consumer motivations for taking a wellness vacation, a good resource for travel advisors as the industry rebounds from COVID-19.
The biggest changes that Alaska flyers will see include a new pre-travel healthy agreement that all guests will be required to complete prior to check-in.
The changes to security procedures are meant to reduce the amount of contact between passengers and TSA agents.
“While the path to recovery may take several years, there are many aspects to this crisis that will make us a better, stronger, and more resilient airline,” Ed Bastian said.
